Price trend                               

On August 26th, Sinopec East China listed acetone at a price of 6,400 RMB/ton, and Sinopec North China listed at a price of 6,400-6,450 RMB/ton.

Analysis review                      

The inventory at Jiangyin Port was 34,000 tons. Last week, there was a significant increase in port inventory, and the supply pressure was high. Traders had a strong intention to offer discounts for shipments, and market quotations had been declining day by day. The pressure on factories to ship had increased, and traders had a strong sentiment towards shipping. The offers continued to decline, and the purchasing sentiment next week was average, with limited follow-up on actual orders.

Market outlook

It is expected that the market will experience narrow fluctuations on August 26th, with acetone dispersion in the East China region priced at 6,200-6,250 RMB/ton.
