The latest data shows that in the first seven months of 2024, Ivory Coast's rubber exports totaled 794,831 tons, a decrease of 4.5% from 832,556 tons in the same period of 2023.
Looking at the data for July alone, the export volume decreased by 20.6% year-on-year and increased by 37.1% month on month.
Cote d'Ivoire is an important natural rubber producing country in Africa. In recent years, Ivory Coast's rubber exports have been increasing year after year, driven by stable income, as farmers have shifted their crops from cocoa to rubber.
