According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on August 27, 2024, a total of 56 commodities showed a year-on-year increase in commodity prices, mainly concentrated in the chemical sector (14 in total) and the steel sector (9 in total). The top three commodities with the highest increase were medium thick plates (3.60%), WTI crude oil (3.46%), and palm oil (2.07%). There were a total of 35 products that experienced a month on month decline, mainly in the chemical industry (19 in total) and non-ferrous metals (5 in total). The top 3 products with the highest decline were formic acid (-4.55%), butanone (-4.36%), and 1,4-butanediol (-2.99%).
