On August 28th, domestic liquefied natural gas (LNG) prices continued to rise. The reference average price of liquefied natural gas in Inner Mongolia is 4,850 RMB/ton, an increase of 0.50% from the previous trading day. The price of liquefied natural gas (LNG) continues to rise, mainly due to supply side tightening. The LNG production facilities in Inner Mongolia and other regions are affected by restricted gas policies, coupled with power restrictions caused by extreme high temperatures in Sichuan, Chongqing, and other places, resulting in a decrease in LNG production plant output and tight supply. This series of factors together have driven up the prices of LNG markets, including Shaanxi, Ningxia, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Henan, Southwest, Shandong, and other regions.
