Price trend
On August 28th, the prices of rare earth elements in the dysprosium terbium series in China fell. The recent trading situation on the exchange was average, with terbium oxide prices at 5.6 million RMB/ton and terbium metal prices at 6.8 million RMB/ton. Dysprosium oxide prices fell by 10,000 RMB/ton to 1.72 million RMB/ton, dysprosium metal prices fell by 25,000 RMB/ton to 2.355 million RMB/ton, and dysprosium ferroalloy prices fell by 20,000 RMB/ton to 1.725 million RMB/ton.
Analysis review
Recently, the market for new energy vehicles in the terminal market had remained stable, with normal transactions among downstream permanent magnet material manufacturers of rare earths. Downstream purchases had been mainly based on demand, with average new orders. The prices of dysprosium series and terbium series in the heavy rare earth market had declined.
