Starting from 18:00 on September 2, 2024, Chengdu Zhongtian Chengxin Packaging Co., Ltd. will increase the original price by 3 percentage points. If orders are not accepted after 48 hours of notification, all original discounted orders will be cancelled and discounted cardboard will be re evaluated.

Starting from 18:00 on September 3, 2024, Luzhou ShengRMB Paper Industry Co., Ltd. will uniformly increase all current prices by 3%. Customers who fail to make payments according to the agreed payment terms will be suspended from orders, and orders with delivery dates exceeding three days or uncertain delivery dates will not be accepted.

It is reported that since late August, several paper companies in Sichuan, including Sichuan Rongchuang Era Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. and Jintian Paper Industry (Sichuan) Co., Ltd., have successively issued price increase letters, raising the price of high-strength corrugated paper and recycled kraft paper by 30-50 RMB/ton. Although the increase this time is not high, it still puts considerable cost pressure on the downstream paper packaging industry.

Sichuan Rongchuang Era Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd./Sichuan Xinjin Chenlong Paper Industry Co., Ltd. will increase the price of high-strength corrugated paper and recycled kraft paper by 30 RMB/ton on the existing basis from 0:00 on August 27, 2024.

Starting from September 6, 2024, Jintian Paper (Sichuan) Co., Ltd. will uniformly increase the price of all high-strength corrugated paper by 50 RMB/ton on the basis of the original price.

At present, the domestic packaging paper market is showing an overall fluctuating situation. Although Sichuan has seen some gains, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shandong, Fujian, Henan and other places are reducing prices. For example, Dongguan Jiulong recently announced the latest preferential policies for raw paper. Unless unexpected, the market fluctuations in certain regions will continue, and it will be difficult for paper companies to maintain a completely consistent pace of price adjustments.
