The US Department of Agriculture's weekly export sales report shows that in the first 54 weeks of 2023/2024, the total export sales of US corn to China decreased by 62.8% year-on-year. As of August 29th, the shipment volume of US corn exports to China in 2023/2024 was 2.82 million tons, compared to 7.54 million tons in the same period last year.

The United States shipped 2,000 tons of corn to China this week, and there was no shipment of corn to China a week ago.,

The amount of corn sold but not shipped to China by the United States for the fiscal year 2023/2024 is 13,000 tons, lower than the 42,000 tons sold in the same period last year.

So far in 2023/2024, the total sales of corn from the United States to China (both shipped and unshipped) have been 2.82 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 62.8%. The previous week was a year-on-year decrease of 62.8%, and two weeks ago it was a year-on-year decrease of 62.8%.

The total corn sales to all destinations in the United States in 2023/2024 amounted to 55.78 million tons, an increase of 37.4% compared to the same period last year. Last week, there was a year-on-year increase of 37.8%, and two weeks ago, there was a year-on-year increase of 38.0%.

The United States has not yet sold new season corn to China

So far this year, the United States has not sold any new season corn to China; Last year, the same period was 391,000 tons.

In 2024/2025, the United States sold approximately 11.24 million tons of corn to all destinations, up from 9.42 million tons a week ago and 10.41 million tons in the same period last year.
