The US Department of Agriculture's Export Inspection Weekly report shows that the inspection volume of US corn exports decreased by 13% last week compared to a week ago, but increased by 31% compared to the same period last year. As of the week ending September 5, 2024, the inspection volume of US corn exports was 836,413 tons, compared to 966,344 tons last week and 636,221 tons in the same period last year.
The United States shipped 1,519 tons of corn to China this week, and 1836 tons of corn to China last week.
So far in 2024/2025, the inspection volume of US corn exports has been 46626 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 26.3%.
The inspection volume of US corn exports in 2024/2025 has reached the forecast target of 0.8% by the US Department of Agriculture.
