According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the price of color coated sheets has tended to stabilize this week. On September 9th, the market price of color coated sheet was 6,100 RMB/ton, and on September 13th it is 6,050 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.81% compared to last week and a decrease of 13.36% compared to the same period last year.

Analysis review

Galvanized sheet: The price of galvanized sheet has slightly decreased this week. On Friday (September 13th), the price of galvanized sheet is 4,040 RMB/ton, a decrease of 1.22% from last week and 22.45% from the same period last year. The downstream demand in the coating market is lukewarm, and market transactions are relatively weak.

Market outlook

This Friday, the supply of major steel varieties was 8.0078 million tons, with a weekly decrease of 0.39 million tons or 0.05%; The total inventory of the five major steel products was 14.1871 million tons, with a weekly decrease of 904,900 tons, a decrease of 6.0%; This Friday, the weekly apparent consumption of major varieties was 8.9127 million tons, an increase of 4.3% compared to the previous week, including an 8.1% increase in building materials consumption and a 2.1% increase in board consumption.

Considering the arrival of the off-season, although most factories' costs continue to rise, their shipping mentality continues, and their offers remain strong at high levels. This week, most of the domestic facilities start working normally, but production and sales have not yet been balanced, and inventory is accumulating. It is expected that the price of color coated sheets will remain stable in the short term.
