On September 24th, Sinopec East China’s phenol was listed at a price of 9,000 RMB/ton.
Analysis review
On September 23rd, the inventory of phenol at Jiangyin Port decreased to 6,000 tons. After the holiday, the phenol market in East China slightly rose, but the short-term replenishment of ship cargo was insufficient, and the tight supply of spot goods may continue.
Market outlook
The National Day holiday is approaching, and there is a demand for inventory at the terminal. It is expected that the phenol market will continue to operate at a high level in the short term, and attention should be paid to the fundamental situation of supply and demand.

East China region: 8,950-9,000 RMB/ton, up 100 RMB/ton;
Shandong region: 8900-9000 RMB/ton, unchanged;
Surrounding area of Yanshan Mountain: 8,900-9,000, unchanged;
South China region: 8,950-9,050, up 100 RMB/ton.
