Galvanized sheet: The price of galvanized sheet had slightly increased this week. On Friday (September 27th), the price of galvanized sheet was 4,080 RMB/ton, an increase of 0.74% compared to last week and a decrease of 22.53% compared to the same period last year. The downstream demand in the coating market was lukewarm, and market transactions were relatively weak.

Market outlook

This week, the five major steel varieties supplied 8.2305 million tons, an increase of 150,300 tons or 1.9% compared to the previous week; The total inventory was 12.9191 million tons, with a weekly decrease of 581,400 tons, a decrease of 3.42%; The weekly consumption was 9.1337 million tons, an increase of 8.2% compared to the previous period; Among them, the consumption of building materials increased by 18.1% month on month, and the consumption of board materials increased by 2.6% month on month.

Considering the arrival of the off-season, although most factories' costs continued to rise, their shipping mentality continued, and their offers remained strong at high levels. This week, most of the domestic facilities started working normally, but production and sales have not yet been balanced, and inventory is accumulating. It is expected that the price of color coated sheets will remain stable in the short term.
