The latest data shows that a total of 1,800.1 million tires were imported into the United States in the first eight months of 2024, an increase of 10.8% year-on-year. Among them, the import of passenger car tires increased by 5.1% year-on-year to 110.95 million pieces; The import of truck tires increased by 23% year-on-year to 38.42 million pieces; Aircraft tires decreased by 5% year-on-year to 201,000 units; Motorcycle tires increased by 27% year-on-year to 2.18 million units; Bicycle tires increased by 10% year-on-year to 4.31 million.

From January to August, the United States imported a total of 17.33 million tires from China, an increase of 4% year-on-year. Among them, the number of passenger car tires decreased by 37% year-on-year to 1.09 million; The number of truck tires decreased by 23% year-on-year to 1.09 million.

From January to August, the United States imported a total of 43.24 million tires from Thailand, an increase of 27% year-on-year. Among them, there were 27.26 million passenger car tires, a year-on-year increase of 23%; There were 10.75 million car tires on the truck, a year-on-year increase of 29%.
