On October 16th, the price of copper futures in Shanghai fell slightly. The main contract 2411 closed at 76,720 RMB/ton, down 170 RMB/ton or 0.22%. At 3:00 pm on the same day, the March copper price in London was 9,558.50 US dollars per ton, and the internal to external ratio between Shanghai and London was 8.03, higher than the previous trading day's 8.00. The decline in Shanghai copper futures was smaller than that in the London market.
All contracts were traded 145,479 lots, and the position decreased by 8,675 lots to 421,733 lots. The main contract sold 72,691 lots, and the position decreased by 9,800 lots to 146,168 lots.
