The US Department of Agriculture's Export Inspection Weekly report shows that the inspection volume of US corn exports last week increased by 97% compared to a week ago and 112% compared to the same period last year. As of the week ending October 17, 2024, the inspection volume of US corn exports was 999,811 tons, compared to 506,616 tons last week and 472,413 tons in the same period last year.
The United States shipped 1029 tons of corn to China this week, but there were no shipments of corn to China last week.
So far in 2024/2025, the inspection volume of US corn exports has been 5,794,869 tons, a year-on-year increase of 30.6%, an increase of 19.0% last week, and an increase of 22.2% two weeks ago.
The inspection volume of US corn exports for 2024/2025 has reached 9.8% of the US Department of Agriculture's forecast target, up from 8.0% last week.
