The latest data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics shows that Australia exported 375,480 tons of rapeseed in August, a decrease of 2.7% from 386,034 tons in July, but an increase of 4.7% from 358,677 tons in August last year.
In the previous year ending September 30, 2023, Australia's rapeseed exports reached a historic high of 6 million tons.
In August 2024, Japan was the main export market for Australian rapeseed with a quantity of 120,129 tons, followed by the United Arab Emirates with 90,732 tons and Pakistan with 65,038 tons.
