This week, the supply and demand of 2-EH were relatively balanced, with expected sales of orders from 2-EH manufacturers. The market support for 2-EH still existed, and the price of 2-EH was fluctuating and consolidating.

Downstream plasticizer DOP prices fluctuated and stabilized

According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, as of October 25th, the price of plasticizer DOP was 9,226.25 RMB/ton, which fluctuated and increased by 0.14% compared to the DOP price of 9,213.75 RMB/ton on October 18th last weekend; Compared to October 1st, the DOP price of 8,988.75 RMB/ton first rose and then fell, with a 2.64% increase. The price of 2-EH was fluctuating and stabilizing, while the cost of DOP was temporarily stable. DOP manufacturers were selling orders, and downstream demand and procurement were generally active. The price of plasticizer DOP was relatively stable. Plasticizer demand supported, 2-EH demand support still existed, and 2-EH prices were fluctuating and stabilizing.

Market outlook

The 2-EH product data analyst of SunSirs believes that downstream customers had increased resistance to high priced 2-EH, and market purchasing enthusiasm was average, resulting in fluctuating and consolidating 2-EH prices; 2-EH manufacturers were operating steadily, with sufficient supply of 2-EH.
