On October 29th, the commodity price index BPI was 893 points, a decrease of 2 points from yesterday, a decrease of 33.51% from the highest point of 1,343 points during the cycle (2021-10-19), and an increase of 35.30% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016.

According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on October 29, 2024, there were a total of 28 commodities that showed a year-on-year increase in commodity prices, mainly concentrated in the chemical sector (12 in total) and the non-ferrous sector (8 in total). The top 3 commodities with the highest increase were 1,4-butanediol (4.51%), wire (2.04%), and silver (1.92%). There are a total of 51 products that have experienced a month on month decline, concentrated in the chemical industry (20 in total) and energy (7 in total). Products with a decline of more than 5% are mainly concentrated in the energy sector; The top three commodities with a decline are Brent crude oil (-6.64%), WTI crude oil (-6.13%), and PX (-3.95%).
