On October 29th, the National Grain and Oil Information Center reported that domestic soybean meal prices have fluctuated narrowly at low levels in the past three weeks. On October 28th, the closing price of the Dalian Commodity Exchange soybean meal 2501 contract was 2,985 RMB/ton, unchanged on a weekly basis and down 3.4% on a monthly basis. In terms of spot goods, the price of ordinary soybean meal in coastal areas ranges from 2950 to 3,050 RMB/ton, which is basically unchanged on a weekly basis. Downstream procurement in North China is not active, with prices 20-50 RMB/ton lower than in South China.
