The US Department of Agriculture's Export Inspection Weekly report shows that the inspection volume of US corn exports last week decreased by 7% compared to a week ago, but increased by 36% compared to the same period last year. As of the week ending October 31, 2024, the inspection volume of US corn exports was 779,078 tons, compared to 840,435 tons last week and 574,558 tons in the same period last year.
The United States shipped 1,469 tons of corn to China this week, and 1,029 tons of corn to China last week.
So far in 2024/2025, the inspection volume of US corn exports has been 7,423,217 tons, a year-on-year increase of 33.7%, an increase of 30.6% last week, and an increase of 19.0% two weeks ago.
The inspection volume of US corn exports in 2024/2025 reached 12.6% of the US Department of Agriculture's forecast target, up from 9.8% last week.
