Products: After the festival has always been the low season for the consumption of eggs, especially this year by the new outbreak of epidemic, the impact of consumption is more serious, and the price of eggs did not plummet does not look back, but with the increase in the return to work after the festival, gradually shock upward. The current 2.8-2.9 RMB/catty wholesale price in recent years was in normal low level. In the later period, as the temperature rises further, the epidemic prevention and control conditions will be more favorable, and concentrated consumption may be gradually liberalized.

Supplementary Column: In December, 98.5 million chickens were supplemented by columns, with a month-on-month increase of 3.85% and a significant increase of 45.11%. The five-year average of the same period was 81.36 million, which was the highest level of supplementary column in recent 7 years. In the first half of December, the price of eggs rose somewhat compared with that of late November, and the overall profit was still at a high level in recent years. Farmers' willingness to supplement columns was still strong, especially farmers with a scale of more than 20,000, and the supplement column increased significantly.

Forecast: In the short - term supply and demand imbalance, it is difficult for egg prices to change the weak fluctuation. But in the expectation of consumer warming, pig prices remain high and egg prices further fall limited.
