On November 6th, the PA market in Shandong Province experienced a weak adjustment, with downstream factories maintaining their essential procurement needs. High end price transactions were hindered, and the mainstream prices for OX method PA were negotiated at 6,700-6,900 RMB/ton, while the mainstream prices for naphthalene based PA sources were negotiated at 6,500-6,700 RMB/ton.
Market outlook
The price of raw material OX had fluctuated and fallen, while the downstream plasticizer market had fluctuated and risen. PA manufacturers' equipment was operating at a high load and stable, with average sales. The PA market is weakly consolidating in the future.
