According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, the price of activated charcoal was 11,150 RMB/ton at the beginning of this week, and the price of activated charcoal was 11,133 RMB/ton this weekend. The price fell by 0.15%.

Analysis review   

Product: Domestic activated charcoal prices have stabilized temporarily. The current ex-factory price of activated charcoal for coconut shell water purification in East China is around 7,000-12,000 RMB/ton; the domestic activated charcoal market orders more on demand, but the market turnover is not high and prices fall under pressure.

Industrial chain: The cost pressure of coconut shell, fruit shell, charcoal and other main raw materials upstream of activated charcoal is supported, and the demand is fair; the cost support of coal-based carbon raw materials is weak. Downstream power, pharmaceuticals and other demanding industries purchase goods on a single basis, the market for activated charcoal for air purification and water purification is favorable, and the environmental protection policy boosts the activated charcoal market. The market lacks good news to support and prices fall.

Market outlook

The downstream demand of the activated charcoal market is poor, and the trading atmosphere on the market is flat.
