On Friday (November 15th), the price of galvanized sheet was 4,375 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.34% from last week and 17.4% from the same period last year. The downstream demand in the coating market is lukewarm, and market transactions are relatively weak.

Market outlook

This week, the supply of five major steel varieties was 8.6149 million tons, a decrease of 57,900 tons or 0.7% compared to the previous week; The total inventory was 12.188 million tons, a decrease of 161,000 tons or 1.3% compared to the previous week; The weekly consumption was 8.776 million tons, a decrease of 1.6% compared to the previous period; Among them, the consumption of building materials decreased by 4.6% month on month, while the consumption of board materials increased by 0.2% month on month.

Considering the arrival of the off-season, although most factories' costs continue to rise, their shipping mentality continues, and their offers remain strong at high levels. This week, most of the domestic facilities started working normally, but production and sales have not yet been balanced, and inventory is accumulating. It is expected that the price of color coated sheets will remain stable in the short term.
