According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the price of color coated boards has tended to stabilize this week. On November 18th, the market price of color coated board was 6,600 RMB/ton, and on November 22nd it is 6,650 RMB/ton, an increase of 0.75% compared to last week and a decrease of 4.76% compared to the same period last year.

Analysis review

Galvanized sheet: The price of galvanized sheet has slightly increased this week. On Friday (November 22), the price of galvanized sheet was 4,362 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.29% compared to last week and a decrease of 17.69% compared to the same period last year. The downstream demand in the coating market is lukewarm, and market transactions are relatively weak.

Market outlook

This week, the five major steel varieties supplied 8.693 million tons, an increase of 102,400 tons on a week on week basis, with a growth rate of 0.9%; The total inventory was 11.8948 million tons, a decrease of 143,100 tons or 1.2% compared to the previous week; The weekly consumption was 8.8361 million tons, with building materials consumption increasing by 2.5% month on month and board consumption decreasing by 0.2% month on month.

Considering the arrival of the off-season, although most factories' costs continue to rise, their shipping mentality continues, and their offers remain strong at high levels. This week, most of the domestic facilities started working normally, but production and sales have not yet been balanced, and inventory is accumulating. It is expected that the price of color coated boards will remain stable in the short term.
