According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the price of bromine was temporarily stable. On December 17th, the average market price of bromine was around 21,900 RMB/ton.

On December 16th, the bromine commodity index was 76.84, unchanged from the precious day, a decrease of 68.66% from the highest point of 245.18 points (2021-10-27) during the cycle, and an increase of 30.41% from the lowest point of 58.92 points on October 29th, 2014. In terms of raw materials, domestic sulfur prices were operating steadily, with an average market price of 1,714.33 RMB/ton on December 17th. Downstream purchases were mainly based on demand.

The downstream flame retardants of bromine were mostly purchased on demand in the recent times, supply and demand gamed. Overall, it is expected that bromine may continue to consolidate in the later stage, depending on downstream market demand.
