On January 23rd, the price of copper futures in Shanghai fell slightly. The main contract 2503 closed at 74,960 RMB/ton, down 590 RMB/ton or 0.78%. At 3:00 pm on the same day, the March copper price in London was 9,170.50 US dollars per ton, and the internal to external ratio between Shanghai and London was 8.17, which was the same as the previous trading day. The Shanghai London market experienced similar fluctuations.

All contracts were traded 116,042 lots, and the position decreased by 5,841 lots to 404,438 lots. The main contract sold 57,058 lots, and the position increased by 487 lots to 162,408 lots.
