According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, the average price of paraformaldehyde (96) in Shandong Province at the end of this week was 4,366 RMB/ton, and the average price at the beginning of this week was 4,233 RMB/ton, up 3.15%.

Product: Shandong Aldehyde Chemical Co., Ltd. has an annual output of 30,000 tons of paraformaldehyde. The ex-factory quoted price of paraformaldehyde (96) is 4,200 RMB/ton, which is 200 RMB/ton higher than last week. Linyi Shengyang Chemical Co., Ltd. has an annual output of 9,000 tons of paraformaldehyde. The price of paraformaldehyde (96) ex-factory tax is 4,300 RMB/ton, which is 200 RMB/ton higher than last week. Zibo Qixing Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. has an annual output of 10,000 tons of paraformaldehyde. The ex-factory quoted price of paraformaldehyde (96) is 4,600 RMB/ton, which is the same as last week. Paraformaldehyde manufacturers raised their quotations and the market demand is acceptable.

Industrial chain: The domestic methanol market is mainly strong. According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, the average domestic methanol market price on April 1 was 1,600 RMB/ton, and the domestic methanol market price on April 14 was 1,790 RMB/ton, an increase of 11.80%.

Market outlook

Analysts of paraformaldehyde in SunSirs believe that paraformaldehyde has risen due to the favorable effect of raw material methanol.
