On February 4th, the commodity price index of propylene and 2-EH in SunSirs was 100.16 points, unchanged from the previous day, a decrease of 49.71% from the highest point of 199.16 points during the cycle (2020-04-13), and an increase of 110.95% from the lowest point of 47.48 points on August 8th, 2021. (Note: The period refers to January 1, 2012 to present). The price of raw material propylene fluctuated and consolidated, while the price of 2-EH stabilized. The downward pressure on 2-EH weakened, and the upward support still existed.

According to the Commodity Analysis System of SunSirs, the average market price of 2-EH in Shandong on February 5th is 7,816.67 RMB/ton, an increase of 0.21% compared to the previous trading day. The upstream propylene market fluctuates and consolidates, the cost support of 2-EH weakened, the downstream plasticizer market fluctuates and stabilizes, and the downstream purchasing enthusiasm still exists. The upward support for 2-EH still exists, and the downward pressure has weakened.
