Price trend
This week (2.1-2.8), the dichloromethane market rebounded. According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, on February 8th, the average price of bulk dichloromethane in Shandong Province was 2,495 RMB/ton, with a weekly increase of 1.22%; The dichloromethane market was stable with a slight increase, with rising costs, loose supply performance, insufficient downstream demand, and low on-site trading enthusiasm. On February 8th, the ex factory price of mainstream dichloromethane in Shandong region was around 2,450-2,480 RMB/ton.
Analysis review
Supply side: The starting load has increased this week.
Cost side: Demand was slowly recovering, shipping pressure was easing, and prices of methyl alcohol and liquid chlorine continued to rise. On February 7th, the spot price of methyl alcohol at SunSirs was 2,665.83 RMB/ton, an increase of 1.14% from the beginning of the month.
On the demand side: The atmosphere of the Spring Festival has not yet ended, and the activity of the refrigerant market was still low. Factories were resuming production one after another, and the overall industry was still under load. The offer has risen to 43,000 RMB/ton, and the sound of price increase continued.
Market outlook
