The Ukrainian Ministry of Agriculture stated that as of February 7th, the grain exports from Ukraine for the fiscal year 2024/25 (starting from July) amounted to 26.449 million tons, higher than the previous week's 25.516 million tons, an increase of 1.7 million tons or 7.0% compared to the same period last year, and a year-on-year increase of 10.2% a week ago.
The grain export volume from February 1st to 7th was 758,000 tons, lower than the 840,000 tons in the same period last year.
So far this year, the export volume of wheat has been 11.07 million tons, corn 12.87 million tons, and barley 2.08 million tons.
The Ukrainian government and industry associations have agreed to limit wheat exports to 16.2 million tons in 2024/25 to maintain sufficient domestic supply. So far, the export volume of wheat is equivalent to 68.4% of the export quota. There are no restrictions on the export of other grains.
