Price trend

On February 18th, the price trend of PA in the North China market fluctuated and fell. The mainstream price of OX method PA in the market was 7,000-7300 RMB/ton, and the market price of naphthalene PA was 6,900-7,100 RMB/ton.

 Analysis review

The price of industrial naphthalene has fluctuated and fallen, while the price of naphthalene based PA has fluctuated and fallen. The downstream plasticizer market has also fluctuated and fallen, while the price of OX has remained stable. Plasticizer manufacturers were operating at high levels, while downstream purchasing enthusiasm for PA was average. Downstream purchases were mainly based on demand, and some equipment operation loads of naphthalene PA manufacturers were temporarily stable. The supply of PA was tight, and the inventory of PA manufacturers was low, mainly to complete previous orders. However, the price trend of PA has declined in the later stage.
