On February 20th, the commodity price index BPI was 905 points, unchanged from yesterday, down 32.61% from the highest point of 1,343 points during the cycle (2021-10-19), and up 37.12% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016.
According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on February 20, 2025, there were a total of 40 commodities that showed a year-on-year increase in commodity prices, mainly concentrated in the non-ferrous sector (14 in total) and the agricultural and sideline sector (7 in total). The top three commodities with the highest increase were metal praseodymium (2.64%), praseodymium neodymium alloy (2.30%), and praseodymium neodymium oxide (2.30%). There were a total of 36 products that experienced a month on month decline, mainly in the chemical industry (17 in total) and building materials (5 in total). The top three products with the highest decline were TDI (-2.90%), heavy soda ash (-2.22%), and butadiene (-1.86%).
