Galvanized sheet: The price of galvanized sheet has slightly decreased this week. On Friday (March 7th), the price of galvanized sheet was 4,450 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.157% compared to last week and 13.62% compared to the same period last year. The downstream demand in the coating market is lukewarm, and market transactions are relatively weak.

Market outlook

This week, the five major steel varieties supplied 8.3428 million tons, a decrease of 79,800 tons or 0.95% compared to the previous week; The total inventory was 18.6029 million tons, a decrease of 188,300 tons or 1% compared to the previous week; The weekly consumption was 8.5311 million tons, an increase of 258,300 tons on a week on week basis, with a growth rate of 3.1%; Among them, building materials consumption increased by 12.9% month on month, while board consumption decreased by 1.4%.

Considering the arrival of the off-season, although most factories' costs continue to rise, their shipping mentality continues, and their offers remain strong at high levels. This week, most of the domestic facilities started working normally, but production and sales have not yet been balanced, and inventory is accumulating.
