On March 27th, the commodity price index BPI was 900 points, unchanged from yesterday, down 32.99% from the highest point of 1,343 points during the cycle (2021-10-19), and up 36.36% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016.
According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on March 27, 2025, there were a total of 36 commodities that showed a year-on-year increase in commodity prices, mainly concentrated in the chemical sector (13 in total) and the non-ferrous sector (8 in total). The top three commodities with the highest increase were MTBE (2.48%), formic acid (2.26%), and bromine (2.22%). There were a total of 45 products that experienced a month on month decline, mainly in the chemical industry (19 in total) and agricultural and sideline industries (6 in total). The top 3 products with the highest decline were carbon black (-3.67%), dichloromethane (-3.25%), and caustic soda (-2.32%).
