The prices of raw materials ethylene and vinyl acetate are stable but weak, and the cost support for EVA is weak. As of April 21st, the price of ethylene in the East China market has remained stable at around 7,100 RMB/ton; As of April 21st, the price of vinyl acetate in the East China market is around 6,025 RMB/ton.

On the demand side, EVA manufacturers tend to prioritize pre production photovoltaic orders, with the foam market mainly driven by essential demand. Influenced by the international trade situation, market transactions are generally flat, spot digestion is slow, and a wait-and-see atmosphere is gradually increasing. High priced goods transactions are light.

Overall, raw material prices are stable and consolidating, and EVA production is stable. However, downstream sentiment is cautious and resistant to high priced goods. It is expected that the EVA spot market may continue to decline at a high level in the later period.
