In March 2025, the import volume of stainless steel in China was 128,900 tons, a decrease of 31,100 tons or 19.45% compared to the previous month; A year-on-year decrease of 23,800 tons, a decrease of 15.59%. Among them, China imported 100,700 tons of stainless steel from Indonesia, a month on month decrease of 35,000 tons, a decrease of 25.79%, and a year-on-year decrease of 22,200 tons, a decrease of 18.06%.

China's stainless steel export data from January to March 

In March 2025, China's stainless steel exports amounted to 470,600 tons, a decrease of 195,400 tons or 70.98% compared to the previous month; An increase of 84,300 tons year-on-year, with a growth rate of 21.81%.

From January to March 2025, the total export volume of stainless steel in China was 1.226 million tons, an increase of 164,300 tons year-on-year, with a growth rate of 15.47%.

In March 2025, the net export volume of stainless steel in China was 341,700 tons, an increase of 226,500 tons compared to the previous month, with a month on month increase of 196.61%; An increase of 108,100 tons year-on-year, with a growth rate of 46.27%.

From January to March 2025, the total net export volume of stainless steel in China was 775,200 tons, an increase of 321,600 tons year-on-year, with a growth rate of 70.88%.
