The downstream demand in the coating market is lukewarm, and market transactions are relatively weak.

Market outlook

The total inventory of major varieties this Friday was 15.3427 million tons, a decrease of 504,100 tons or 3.2% compared to the previous week. Among them, the inventory of building materials decreased by 409,000 tons per week, a decrease of 4.8%; The inventory of sheet metal decreased by 95,100 tons per week, a decrease of 1.3%. The total inventory in the previous period was 15.8468 million tons, with a decrease of 759,300 tons or 4.6% compared to the previous period. Among them, the inventory of building materials decreased by 268,400 tons on a weekly basis, a decrease of 2.91%; The inventory of sheet metal decreased by 26,400 tons per week, a decrease of 0.36%.

Considering the arrival of the off-season, although most factories' costs continue to rise, their shipping mentality continues, and their offers remain strong at high levels. This week, most of the domestic facilities started working normally, but production and sales have not yet been balanced, and inventory is accumulating.
