SunSirs: Aniline Continues to Rise This Week (9.23-27)
September 29 2019 15:03:41SunSirs(John)

Price trend

According to data from SunSirs, the price of aniline continued to rise this week. At present, the market price of aniline in Shandong is 7600 RMB/ton, and the market price of aniline in Nanjing is 7800 RMB/ton, up 3.14% from last Friday.

Analysis review

Raw Material: This week, the price of pure benzene is 5600-5900 RMB/ton, down from last week. This week, the tender price of aniline raw material is about 200 RMB/ton lower than before. Last week, the Saudi Arabian incident led to a surge in crude oil and pure benzene, benefiting the domestic market. The impact of the event this week has subsided. Although the inventory of Huadong Port declined slightly in this week, some factories were parked near the National Day, and environmental protection requirements caused certain restrictions on transportation. The demand for pure benzene was reduced, and the price of hydrobenzene in Shandong Province continued to fall , the price of benzene began to decline.

Products: Last week, due to unstable parking of Shanxi Tianji, shipments decreased, downstream enterprises turned to Shandong and other places to purchase, aniline inventory decreased, this week, the supply of aniline enterprises is still tight. In addition, although the price of raw benzene bidding fell this week, the price of nitric acid tenders increased significantly, and the cost support was strong, which supported the price increase of aniline.

Market outlook

Raw materials:

Bad: The recent blue sky defense war has strong influence, and transportation restrictions hinder the pure benzene market.

Good: The inventory of ports in East China has declined, and the import of pure benzene is less.

Near the National Day, downstream enterprises have reduced demand for aniline due to environmental protection and limited production.

It is expected that aniline will mainly increase in consumption and run steadily in the near future.
