According to the data of SunSirs, on July 13, the price of wastepaper and corrugated paper was greatly increased. On July 13, the average purchase price of waste yellow board paper market was 2,155.71 RMB/ ton, which was increased by 2.85%. Compared with the average purchase price of wastepaper at the beginning of the month (the average purchase price of waste paper on July 1 was 1,990 RMB/ ton), it was increased by 165.71 RMB/ ton, an increase of 8.33%. On July 13, the average ex-factory price of corrugated base paper was 3,275 RMB/ ton, which was increased by 2.34% on the same day. Compared with the average factory price of corrugated base paper at the beginning of the month (the average factory price of corrugated base paper was 3,125 RMB/ ton on July 1), it was increased by 150 RMB/ ton, or 4.8%.
According to the observation of market changes, the price of wastepaper has been greatly increased recently. The mainstream paper mills have frequently raised the price of wastepaper by about 100-150 RMB/ ton. In addition, the strong rise in the finished paper market has driven the enthusiasm of paper mills to purchase waste paper products. In addition, due to the impact of rainy weather, the recent difficulties in purchasing state-owned waste paper have also led to the rise of domestic wastepaper prices. Therefore, it seems reasonable that the price of waste paper will rise.
As for the price of corrugated base paper, the market price of corrugated paper has continued to rise sharply in recent years. On July 13, Jiulong Paper Co., Ltd. raised the price of base paper again by 200-300 RMB/ ton. This is the eighth time Jiulong has raised the price of base paper, which makes most paper mills follow the increase, and the price seems to continue to rise. Dongguan Jiulong and South China Shanying recently announced the outage maintenance, will also have a certain impact on the corrugated paper market.
According to the paper analysts of SunSirs, the overall market price of wastepaper and base paper is on the upward trend, and the prices of wastepaper and corrugated paper may be in an upward trend in the short term due to factors such as rainy weather and mills shutdown.
