The acrylic acid market has risen recently. According to data from SunSirs’ bulk list, as of September 15 the average price of acrylic acid in East China was 8,566.67 RMB/ton, an increase of 8.90% compared with last Monday (September 7) and an increase of 20.94% compared with August 15. At present, the price of raw material propylene ha,s risen, cost support has risen, downstream industries have entered the peak season, demand has improved, superimposed later parking devices have increased, spot supply has declined, the atmosphere in the market is strong, and the acrylic acid market price has risen sharply.

Upstream propylene, on September 15, the price of propylene in the Shandong region rose steadily. According to the price chart of SunSirs, the price of propylene began to fluctuate in a narrow range after breaking through the cyclical fluctuation range at the beginning of last month, and the market fluctuated slightly. However, since September 1st, the price of propylene has continued to rise across the board, and the upward range is getting bigger and bigger, up to a total of about 300 RMB/ton on the 4th, and the first round of downward adjustments from the 7th to the 10th, with a total reduction of 100-150 RMB/ton. fter that, the price stabilized slightly. The price started to rise again on the 13th, and it had gone up about 250 RMB/ton on the 16th. The current market transaction is between 7,300 and 7,450 RMB/ton, and the mainstream price is around 7,350 RMB/ton. Propylene manufacturers sell smoothly and inventory is low.

Market outlook

According to the acrylic acid analysts of SunSirs, the price of raw material propylene has been at a high level recently, and the cost of acrylic acid continues to be under pressure, superimposed on the boost of downstream demand.
