SunSirs: Terminal Demand Increases in September, Chinese DDGS Ushered in the Rise
September 27 2020 08:19:35SunSirs(Linda)

According to the monitoring data of SunSirs: In September, domestic DDGS got rid of the August downturn, ushered in a rising trend, and prices continued to rise. As of September 25, the average market price of domestic DDGS was 2,253 yuan/ton, an increase of 5.3% from the price in early September.

Terminal demand picks up, DDGS market continues to rise

Since September, domestic DDGS prices have completely ended the decline, and the market has continued to rise. The main reason is that the price of raw corn continues to be high, the US soybean weather is hyped, and the price of substitute soybean meal has returned to the rising channel. In addition, the double festival is approaching, the terminal egg price has risen, the feed factory has started the stock market, supported by bullish factors, and the alcohol factory has continued to increase DDGS. The price of DDGS has risen by 100 yuan/ton.

Towards the end of the month, the price of raw corn still showed an upward trend, soybean meal continued to decline, and the performance of DDGS in various regions was different. The price of DDGS in some areas ushered in a slight correction. The supply of alcohol plants in Shandong was tight, and DDGS was still rising.

SunSirsDDGS analysts believe that during the National Day, some alcohol plants will be shut down for maintenance. It is expected that DDGS prices will remain firm in the future.
