SunSirs: Aniline Prices Rose Due to Good Purchasing Enthusiasm (September 21-27)
September 29 2020 11:34:28SunSirs(John)

Price trend

According to data from SunSirs’ bulk list, the price of aniline rose this week. On September 20, the price of aniline in Shandong was 4,650-4,900 RMB/ton, and the price of aniline in East China was 4,900-5,000 RMB/ton; On September 27, the price of aniline in Shandong was 5,000-5,200 RMB/ton, and the price of aniline in East China was 5,200-5,300 RMB/ton, an increase of 7.69% from last week.

Analysis review

In terms of cost, the northern downstream stocking came to an end, and the Shandong market was lightly traded this week. Pure benzene companies placed inventories before the holiday and lowered their prices. This week, the market in Shandong again weakened. On Sunday (September 27), the listing price of pure benzene was 3,000-3,450 RMB/ton (average price 3,400 RMB/ton), an increase of 0.29% from last week.

The production price of nitric acid in East China this week was 1,516.67 RMB/ton, which was the same as last week.

The downstream procurement enthusiasm before the holiday was better, the company's sales were smooth, the inventory was low, and the prices were rising.

Market outlook

In terms of cost, from the current point of view, the downstream demand for pure benzene is not strongly supported, coupled with the continuous recovery of domestic hydrogenated benzene shutdown maintenance facilities, it is expected to have an impact on the pure benzene market. It is expected that pure benzene will maintain a weak operation before the holiday.

The enthusiasm for downstream purchases supports the price of aniline.
