At the beginning of the week, the price of seamless pipes of 20#, 108*4.5 reported 4,395 RMB/ton, and fell to 4382.5 RMB/ton on the weekend, a decrease of 0.28%, a decrease of 1.43% from the beginning of the year and down 7.27% year-on-year.

The price of raw tube billet fell

This week, the domestic ex-factory price of main pipe rings fell by 20-110 RMB/ton, and the main price of 20# hot-rolled billet was 3,700-4,270 RMB/ton. As of the 25th, the ex-factory price of the seamless tube factory: Tiangang 20# hot-rolling price was 3,810 RMB/ton, Linggang's price was 4,050 RMB/ton, and Zhongtian's price was 4,290 RMB/ton.

The seamless tube price of tube factory was stable mainly

This week, the price of seamless tubes in the tube plant was mainly stable. Among them, 108*4.5 seamless tubes, Jinzhengyang 4,200 RMB/ton, Jinbaocheng 4,200 RMB/ton, Taizong 4,200 RMB/ton, Ruiganglian 4,150 RMB/ton, Meixin 4,150 RMB/ton.

Seamless tube inventory

The operating rate of 200 production lines nationwide (including 40 long-flow steel pipe plants) was 78.5%, an increase of 0.4 percentage point from last week (September 18). The total inventory was 958,000 tons, a decrease of 42,200 tons from last week, and a decrease of 4.22% on a week-on-week basis. Ended for four consecutive weeks’ inventories increase.

Market outlook

Although the sales situation this week has picked up compared with last week, traders are afraid to stockpile too much and keep the warehouse stable. In addition to the holiday season, they did not have much expectations for the September market. They kept their minds to wait and see. The market outlook for seamless pipes is expected to be stable, with some declines.
