SunSirs: Domestic DMF Market Prices Rose

Price trend

According to the data monitored by SunSirs, as of October 20, the average price of domestic premium DMF companies was 8,016.17 RMB/ton. The domestic DMF market price continued to increase, and the price rose, compared with the same period last month, the price increased by 16.46%.Compared with the price at the beginning of October, it rose 8.82%, an increase of more than 300 RMB/ton.

Analysis review   

The domestic DMF market is on the upward trend, downstream demand has increased, sales are smooth, and downstream replenishment is active. At present, there is no pressure on inventory, the upward trend is strong, the center of gravity is strong, and the focus of negotiation is high. As of October 20th, Luxi Chemical's price was 8,250 RMB/ton, Zhangqiu Riyue was 8,300 RMB/ton, Hualu Hengsheng was 7,500 RMB/ton, Shaanxi Xinghua was 8,300 RMB/ton, and the reference price of East China market was 8,550-8,750 RMB/ton. The reference price of the South China market was 8,800-8,900 RMB/ton.

The upstream methanol price is stable, the transaction atmosphere is acceptable. Just need replenishment is the majority, mostly based on negotiation.

On October 19, the chemical index was 761 points, an increase of 1 point from previous day, a decrease of 25.10% from the highest point in the cycle of 1,016 points (2012-03-13), and an increase of 27.26% from the lowest point of 598 points on April 8, 2020. (Note: Period refers to 2011-12-01 till now)

Market outlook

The DMF analyst of SunSirs believes that the DMF market is currently operating at a high level and the upward momentum is strong, and it will maintain an upward trend in the short term.
