From November 2 to 6, 2020, the market price of antimony ingots in East China temporarily stabilized at 42,500 yuan/ton last week.

The antimony commodity index on November 8 was 59.16, the same as on November 7, a decrease of 42.18% from the cycle high of 102.32 points (2012-10-16), and an increase of 25.93 from the low of 46.98 points on December 24, 2015. %. (Note: Period refers to 2012-09-08 to present).

The domestic antimony ingot market price remained stable last week. As prices in overseas markets continue to rise, most domestic industry insiders are bullish on the market outlook. In addition, there are still fewer foreign imports in the previous period, domestic raw materials are tight, and the price of mines is relatively high, and the cost of antimony products is under greater pressure. Mainly, coupled with the recent environmental protection restrictions in the surrounding areas of the main production area, domestic production has been affected to a certain extent, and the supply of antimony ingots is slightly tight. Under the double positive blessing, the antimony ingot market price has risen as of the 6th in the domestic market. 2# low bismuth antimony ingot 41,750 yuan/ton, 1# antimony ingot 42,250 yuan/ton, 0# antimony ingot 43,000 yuan/ton, and 2# high bismuth antimony ingot on the domestic market The average price was RMB 40,750/ton, an increase of RMB 500-1,000/ton from last week. The market price of antimony trioxide increased following the trend of antimony ingot. As of the end of the week, the average price of antimony trioxide was 99.5% at 38,500 yuan/ton and 99.8% at 39,500 yuan/ton, an increase of 500-1,000 yuan/ton from last week.

According to SunSirs price monitoring, in the 44th week of 2020 (11.2-11.6), there are 16 commodities in the non-ferrous sector that have increased month-on-month. The top 3 commodities are neodymium metal (4.25%) and neodymium oxide (3.91). %), Dysprosium metal (3.41%). There are 3 kinds of commodities that have fallen from the previous month, and the top 3 products that have fallen are magnesium (-0.39%), lead (-0.26%), and cobalt (-0.25%), with an increase or decrease of 1.43% this week. Last week, the metal market was mainly up.

SunSirs believes that under the current tight supply and demand and cost pressures, foreign price increases, antimony product manufacturers reluctance to sell, concerns about supply in the market outlook, and improvement in downstream demand, prices are expected to stabilize and strengthen in the future.
