According to the monitoring of SunSirs, as of July 16, the ex-warehouse price of Daqing BR of PetroChina Northeast was 14,100 RMB/ ton, and that of Jihua / Fushun 1502 was 13,900 RMB/ ton; According to SunSirs, the mainstream price of BR market in Daqing, Qilu, Yanshan, Sichuan and Qixiang is around 14,050-14,800 RMB/ ton; The main report of 1502 emulsion polystyrene butadiene in Jihua, Fushun, Yangzi and Qilu is 14,000 – 14,600 RMB/ ton.

Last week, the start-up of BR declined slightly, while the start-up of styrene butadiene rubber was basically stable.

Last week (7.12-7.16) butadiene feedstock rose sharply, the cost side has support. According to the monitoring of SunSirs, as of July 16, butadiene price was 10,876 RMB/ ton, up 13.58% from 9,576 RMB/ ton at the beginning of the week.

The price of natural rubber is still fluctuating around 13,000 RMB/ ton, which is difficult to break through effectively in the short term, and mainly negative for synthetic rubber. According to the monitoring of SunSirs, as of July 16, the domestic price of natural rubber was 12,975 RMB/ ton.

SunSirs analysts believe that the low price of natural rubber has a strong negative effect on BR, but there are plant maintenance plans for BR and styrene butadiene in the later stage. In addition, the supply of butadiene is tight and the price is high, so it is expected that BR and styrene butadiene will fluctuate in the later stage in China.
