SunSirs: Morning News of Nov 1, SND and SN Went down at Night

On Oct 31, the Tin Commodity Index was 70.43, 0.13 lower than that of yesterday, 29.75% lower than the peak of 100.25 in the cycle (Sep 5, 2011), and 64.33% higher than the lowest point of 42.86 (Dec 9, 2015). (Cycle: Sep 1, 2011 to date)

On Oct 31, the US dollar fell to 97.21, the lowest level since Oct 21. The US dollar index fell 2.1% this month, the largest monthly decline since Jan 2018. The US dollar closed at 97.312, dropping 0.16%. US economic data was weak, the MNI Chicago PMI index dropped to its lowest level since 2015, and US consumer comfort dropped the most in eight years. Affected by these, metals in LME almost dropped. PBD decreased 1.66%, NID decreased 0.6%, SND decreased 1.38%, ZSD decreased 0.88%, AHD increased 0.46%, and CAD decreased 1.38%. Most of the metals in domestic market dropped. RB decreased 0.18%, SS decreased 0.53%, NI decreased 0.34%, PB decreased 0.78%, ZN decreased 0.58%, SN decreased 0.3%, CU decreased 1.12% and AL decreased 0.04%.

SND trend: Last night, the opening price of SND’s electronic disk was 16,845USD/t, the highest one was 16,845USD/t, the lowest one was 16,300USD/t, the closing price was 16,470USD/t, the price decreased 230USD/t. The volume was 367 lots all day; Open interest was 16,660 lots, decreasing 402 lots. The inventory was 6,175t, dropping 160t.

SN trend: Last night, the opening price of SN2001 was 138,690RMB/t, the highest one was 138,870RMB/t, the lowest one was 137,400RMB/t, the closing price was 137,610RMB/t, the price decreased 730RMB/t. The volume was 7,900 lots, the open interest was 391,518 lots, increased 288 lots.
