According to the monitoring of SunSirs, the average price of concentrated nitric acid in the domestic area was 2,600 RMB/ton last Friday, and the average price on August 2 was 3,096 RMB/ton, an increase of 19.1%.

Analysis review

On August 2, Anhui Jinhe’s concentrated nitric acid was quoted at 3,200 RMB/ton, an increase of 100 RMB/ton from the previous time; Wenshui County Synthetic Chemical Co., Ltd. quoted 2,890 RMB/ton for concentrated nitric acid and 1,180 RMB/ton for dilute nitric acid, and the quotation of concentrated nitric acid was 690 RMB/ton higher than last time; Shandong Helitai’s concentrated nitric acid price was 3,200 RMB/ton, which was 700 RMB/ton higher than last time; Anhui Audley’s concentrated nitric acid quotation was 3,100 RMB/ton, which was lower 200 RMB/ton than last time; Shaanxi Xinghua Chemical’s ex-factory price of concentrated nitric acid was 2,650 RMB/ton, which was 150 RMB/ton higher than last time. The supply of nitric acid was locally tight, the trading was fair, and the quotation was raised.

The upstream liquid ammonia, according to the monitoring of SunSirs, the production price in Shandong this week (8.2-8.6) fell by 1.71%. Downstream aniline, the domestic market price quotation of aniline this week (8.2-8.6) was temporarily stable. Downstream TDI, the market price of TDI in East China fell 1.67% this week (8.2-8.6).

Market outlook

Nitric acid rose by a large margin. Nitric acid analysts of SunSirs predict that nitric acid may be adjusted mainly, and the room for upside is limited.
