According to data from SunSirs’ bulk list, as of November 10, the average price of acrylic acid in East China was 17,700 RMB/ton, which was 5.52% lower than the price on the 1st, and 3.63% lower than the price on October 10.

Analysis review

Recently (11.1-11.10) the acrylic acid market has fallen. At present, the price of raw material propylene has risen slightly, the cost support is limited, the downstream demand is weak, the enthusiasm for inquiries and purchases is average, the wait-and-see atmosphere is strong, and the supply is slightly sufficient. With insufficient cost and demand support, acrylic acid market prices are under pressure to decline.

In the upstream propylene, the propylene market in Shandong has risen recently (11.05-11.10). According to data from SunSirs’ bulk list, as of November 10, the reference price of propylene was 7,905.67, which was 2.44% higher than the price on November 5 and 3.30% lower than that on November 1.

Market outlook

According to the acrylic acid analysts of SunSirs, the current raw material propylene price has risen slightly, the cost side support is not strong, and the demand side performance is not good. It is expected that the acrylic acid market may be weakened in the short term.
