According to the data monitoring chart of SunSirs, the average domestic spot price of PVC5 type on March 1 was 8,480 RMB/ton, an increase of 0.36% from the previous trading day and a year-on-year decrease of 3.09%.

Analysis review

At present, the macro atmosphere has turned weak, and the fundamentals of PVC have not changed significantly. The low-end price of the PVC market has risen, and the market has remained stable as a whole. The transaction atmosphere has improved with the continuous recovery of demand, but the transaction at high prices is still not smooth.

As of March 1, the price of raw calcium carbide was around 4,050-4,150 RMB/ton, and the price of PVC was 8,250-8,750 RMB/ton.

Market outlook

It is expected that the PVC market will be mainly stable, with small changes.
